"Uninstaller"

"And as He spake, a certain Pharisee besought Him to dine with him: and He went in, and sat down to meat.  And when the Pharisee saw it, he marveled that He had not first washed before dinner.  And the  Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness."  Luke 11:37-39.

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.  Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and the platter, that the outside of them may be clean also."  Matthew 23:25-26.

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!  for ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness."  Matthew 23:27.

These three sections of scripture, when read in a "Red Lettered Bible" would be found in red letters.  That's because they are the words of Jesus Himself.  In each of these, our wonderful Lord is issuing a warning to the scribes and the Pharisees who were the religious men of that day.  He issued these warnings in parables so that they could better understand what He was trying to make clear to them.  Now Jesus was not condemning these men, for they had already condemned themselves.  He was merely trying to warn them as they really couldn't see their condition.  Jesus loved those men just like He loved those who were following Him and He came to this earth to die for them just as He came to die for you and me.

Now, the Lord has surely blessed me in giving me quite a few little articles to write and He has further blessed me in that He has used these articles to bless the hearts of others.  He has even further blessed me by allowing me to hear from some who have been blessed by these articles and it is He and He alone who deserves all the praise and glory for not only these articles, but for the blessings received by them.  The same is of this little article that I write as the objective of it is first to glorify Him that gave it to me and then to bless those who may read it.

The source of this article is first the Lord who allowed me to see it through the previous verses of scripture and through my own experience and finally through working with this computer, which by the way, He gave to me also.

I don't know who all will be reading this article or how much you will know about computers, so I will try to explain a little as I go to help you better understand how they work.  First of all this article is being written on a word processor which is a program inside the computer that performs all the necessary functions to take these words from the keyboard to the monitor and finally to the printer.  That is called a program.  Within that program are files which work together to carry out each command.  Now, for this program to work, it has to have an operating system, or an environment in which to carry out these various tasks.  So, the operating system is where the program lives and does it's work.

There are several different operating systems in computers today, but the particular one I am using is called Microsoft Windows.   Most people just call it Windows, so that's what I will refer to it as.  Now you can have many different programs inside one operating system as I do this one.  Now, Windows is one of the more sophisticated operating systems as it has all these cute little pictures representing the different programs it has in it.  Windows will allow you to have as many different programs as the memory of the computer will allow, but just recently I have learned of a problem with the Windows operating system.  Say you install a program into Windows and after you get it installed you find that it's a bad program and you really don't want it.  As I said before, a program has many different things called files in it that carry out their own little task.  Well, when you install that program into windows, that program sends all these files to their various places within Windows and since some of those files has to do with Windows it's self, the program hides these files for Windows to use.  Well, that's no problem as long as you leave that program on there, but the problem arises when you try to take the program out.  You can't get all those files out, because the program has hidden some of them.  Every now and then, one of those hidden files pops it's head up and you get a glimpse of it, but you can't get it out.  You may say, "what's wrong with those hidden files as long as they aren't bothering anything?"  Well, they are bothering something.  They are eating up memory which also slows down the performance of the computer.  It is conceivable that you could install enough programs and then take them all back out and though you had nothing on there, you would have enough hidden files to take up all the operating capacity of the computer.

Now, somebody noticed this problem and they have come up with a program that they call "Uninstaller".  This program is especially designed for Windows to go in and find those hidden files so that you can get them completely out of your operating system.

Now, my life is like Windows as it contains all the programs that make me do what I do.  As I was growing up, I allowed many programs to be installed into my life.  Some of them were good, but many of them were bad.  Well, one day I realized that I had all these bad programs and I decided to do something about it.  I joined the church and got baptized and began to try and take all those bad programs out.  I was doing pretty good, or so it seemed as I looked pretty good on the surface.  Every now and then one of those hidden files would pop it's head up, but I just couldn't get it out.  I tried to ignore the problem, thinking, "I'm all right as long as it's not bothering anything".  It was bothering something though, because I had no capacity for good programs as all those hidden files from the bad programs were dragging me down.  I was really a useless computer as my operating system was full of things that could really do nothing.

Then came the "Uninstaller".  Praise the Lord, His name was Jesus.  He ridded me of those worthless hidden files and restore me to a useful tool for Him to use to bring glory and honor to Him where it all belongs.  Friends, I joined the real church that night and I was born into the family of God.  The outside of my cup and platter had been clean, but the inside was full of corruption and I was indeed full of dead men's bones.  When the Lord really and truly and completely saved me, "He" washed the inside of my cup and my platter and "He" "Uninstalled" all the dead weight that was dragging me down.

Friends, there are many, and again I say many, of you out there right now who are just like I was and just like those scribes and Pharisees were, who have shined up the outside of your cup and platter and who have tried to remove all those bad programs in your operating system.  You may look really good on the outside, but on the inside you are just like I was, and you are just like those poor scribes and Pharisees were.  You are a dead man or you are a dead woman.

Now, this article is in no way intended to offend anyone, nor is it intended to condemn anyone, but the Lord has said in His Word, "What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops".  Matthew 10:27.  As I said, this article is not intended to offend or to condemn, but if you are offended, praise the Lord, you are the one to which this article was meant and I plead with you to really take a look inside your cup and inside your operating system and if you can't honestly say to yourself, "I see Jesus in there", Please right this very minute, get down on your knees and tell the Lord God that you realize that you are a lost sinner and ask Him to forgive you and ask Jesus to come into your heart that you may be clean on the inside.  If you have really and truly done that, then He has forgiven you and Jesus has cleansed you and you are indeed a new creature.  God bless you, my friend and my brother.
