1. Have you ever seen a turtle on a fence post?

2. Unless you were ever a country boy growing up on a farm, chances are that you have never seen this.

3. If you ever do see a turtle on a fence post, you can be assured that someone put him there.

4. A turtle cannot climb at all, so if he is on a fence post, there is absolutely no way possible for him to get there unless someone puts him there.

5. This is the reason Jesus Christ came to this earth. He came so that we could go somewhere that we could never go on our own.

6. The lost sinner can never go to heaven on his own. He is like a turtle who would try to get to the top of a fence post on his own. It is impossible. It cannot be done.

7. Are you a turtle on a fence post? If not, you need someone to put you there. You need Jesus Christ. You need His shed blood to put you somewhere you cannot go on your own.
