The Broken Rose

My Dear Friends,
The name for this ministry the Lord has given me comes from one of my favorite songs entitled, "The Broken Rose", written by a dear man of God, Squire Parsons. The words to this song contain a message that is second to none and I wanted to share them with you. As with any section of my home page, it is my prayer that you will truly be blessed by it.

The Broken Rose
Words cannot describe it's beauty
as upon the stem it grows,
Matchless in it's glory,
the tender little rose.
But when it's petals are broken,
it's greatest beauty it shows,
For more sweeter the fragrance
of the broken rose.

Chorus:
The most beautiful rose
was broken one day,
Nailed to a tree
on a hill far away.
Forsaken by His friends,
bruised by His foes;
How sweet is the fragrance
of Heaven's sweet rose.

They laid that broken rose
in a borrowed tomb
But, on the third day,
that rose again did bloom.
Now, to the heights of Heaven,
down to the deepest hell,
The fragrance of Heaven's rose
continually dwells.

Chorus:
The most beautiful rose
was broken one day,
Nailed to a tree
on a hill far away,
Forsaken by His friends,
bruised by His foes;
How sweet is the fragrance
of Heaven's sweet rose.

Squire Parsons

Friend,
This precious rose was broken for me and He was broken for you. Have you trusted Him as your very own personal Saviour and Lord? If not then why not now. He loves you so much that He shed His blood and died for you!

All great journeys begin with just one step. Likewise, the greatest journey must begin with one first step, the step of faith, which begins with believing that Jesus Christ has paid your sin debt in full through the shedding of His precious blood and laying down His life for you. Have you my friend, taken this step of faith and trusted Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour and received Him into your heart and life as Lord? If not, then why not Now!

Acknowledge that you are a sinner.
Believe that Christ died for your sins.
Confess this to God and ask Him to save you.

E-mail me now at hbrm@aol.com if you have taken this most wonderful step of faith as it would be a real blessing to my own heart to hear about it.
